In addition to your physical Beyond Excellence card, the awardsapp is an added tool for you to spend your Beyond Excellence points.Once downloaded, the awardsapp allows you too:
- View your available balance
- Purchase airtime and data
- Purchase vouchers
- Get a virtual card. The virtual card allows you to do online shopping at any retailer in South Africa that accepts MasterCard.
- Manage your physical Beyond Excellence card via the app by activating, cancelling, locking and unlocking your card.
Is the awardsapp free?
Yes, other than requiring data / WiFi to download the app, the app is free on the Google PlayStore for Android users or the Apple Store for iPhone users.How do I get the awardsapp?

Step 1: On your mobile device head to your Apple Store / Play Store
Step 2: In the search field enter awardsapp and search. Step 3: Select the awardsapp icon from the list and click download (please ensure you are downloading the latest version of the awardsapp). Step 4: Once you have downloaded the app, login using the same login credentials you would use when logging onto the Beyond Excellence website. Step 5: Click “Got it” on the Biometric Authentication. |

Is the awardsApp compulsory to download?
No, the Awardsapp is not compulsory to download. If you do not download the app, you will still have the ability to spend using your physical Beyond Excellence card.What is the difference between my physical Beyond Excellence card and the virtual card on the awardsapp?
The physical Beyond Excellence card allows you to pay for goods and services in-store at any retailer accepting MasterCard. The physical Beyond Excellence card is the card in your wallet / purse that you physically need to swipe when purchasing.The virtual card sits on the awardsapp and this provides you with the ability to shop at any online store accepting MasterCard within South Africa. Additionally, the virtual card also allows you to pay for goods/services via Uber, SnapScan and Zapper. The virtual card is very similar to how an online credit card purchase would work.
Does the awardsapp replace the physical Beyond Excellence card?
No, the awardsapp does not replace the physical Beyond Excellence card. You will be able to use the Beyond Excellence card as you have always done. The awardsapp is an added tool for spending your funds.Does the awardsapp allow me to send or receive nominations and extract reports?
No, this will all still need to be done on the Beyond Excellence website, as is currently done.This free app is available to download from the Play Store (Android) and the Apple Store (iPhone) and is compatible to any smartphone.
